Shouldn’t have left you without a dope beat to step to…

Sorry folks. As of today I promise to post more regularly. I was aiming for a post each day Sunday – Friday and that is still my goal but due to weddings/out of town-ness I found myself thinking I should post but somehow … didn’t. This is also likely due to the complete disregard I have had for my point earning over the past 4 days. Yikes. That being said, and due to the fact that I ate unearned fries (*coughs* twice) over the weekend I will happily forgo any fry consumption this Friday and instead turn to the carrot stick.

I returned from a weekend wedding in Rocky Mountain house with the same disappointment/guilt as I do after a weekend of binge drinking, resolving to take the next few weeks off to straighten up and fly right. Thus I have returned to my health and wellness path and hope to stay on track for the next few days? Stay tuned.

I want to note that I never think I look hideous or would call myself fat. I have however been meaning to lose about 7-10 lbs for the last almost decade. In the past year I have made great, unintended strides. I fell in love with yoga and started practicing 3-4 times a week and that has done some great things for me, including toning and building muscle. However, there is still a pesky layer of, how do I say this without sounding like I have an eating disorder?… insoluble in water compounds kicking around in certain areas. So I’ve decided to sound the start pistol for this endeavour. I’m going to give myself about 4 weeks to get it done. If I do great, if not fine but it’s now a goal and being tracked by the couple hundred of you (HOLY CRAP THANK YOU!) that have read this.

That was a bit of a rant so if you made it through, congrats. If it lulled you to sleep then you’re welcome.

Tuesday’s Points:

  • Brought lunch to work- 1PT
  • Ran at lunch (I hate doing this btw) 30 min- 2PT as it was before noon (love loop holes)
  • No treat from the break room – 1PT
  • No alcohol- 1PT
  • Evening strength training 30 min – 1PT
  • Below 1500 cal for the day- 1PT

Total: 7PTS

I realize I added another category but I found this great Nike APP for circuit/strength training that I really wanted to try out and holy moly was it ever hard. If you’re looking for it, it’s called the Nike Training Club and it’s free for download in the Apple App Store.

No more big gulps for this guy…
